Case Western PPSP: 30 k scholarship/year only for undergad, 8 years
UAB EMSAP: full ride undergrad, can apply out, 8 years
Penn State/Jefferson: no scholarship, but 7 years
RPI/Albany physician-scientist: full ride undergrad, 7 years
Undergrad:
Rice: 20 k scholarship/year
Emory/Tulane/URoch: 30 k scholarship/year
I am a Louisiana resident, but living close to home is not a big priority. Some of the factors I’m considering are quality of the undergrad and med school, stress level, flexibility, etc. One concern is that I might be limiting myself by choosing a BS/MD program rather than applying to med school through undergrad.
My main goal is to get into a competitive specialty and maybe do something in public health later on.
