I’m the odd person out but I love my trash compactor. I empty it once a week, it stays clean if you don’t put meat trays in it.
It’s all coming out so beautifully! I agree that the “raindrop” light fixture would become a maintenance issue with the son and his friends living there.
The geometric fixture was selected. The raindrop was beautiful when hung up but really was high maintenance. The gold drum was kind of overwhelming in the space and only provided down light and we need some overall light in there because there’s no way to put in any other overhead lighting

Pictures aren’t posting; maybe too big?
I like this one the best when I see them up!
Love the one you chose!
I like the geometric one that was selected too! Nice! Thank you for sharing.
Which one did you choose?? I like the geometric one. Not the Crystal one and not the round gold one.
Was that the choice?
The choice was the geometric one. We are going to install three of them. But, of course, today I opened up the last box and the glass was broken! Now I have to try and return and get a replacement before end of next week to make our deadline
This one? That was my favorite. But geez…this house has a lot of different types of things from contemporary to traditional and everything in between.
You really tie these things together well!!

Yes, three of those. I might use one of the gold drums in the family room hanging over the small table. But my client is on vacation out of the country and I don’t want to make a $750 decision on a light without her approval. Not to mention we have to tear out the track lighting (which she hates) and run wiring over to the location.
I wish we could paint the ceiling in the kitchen but she promised son no more painted ceilings. The brown pine knotty ceiling is not going with the style of kitchen she wanted
Why is her slob son making decisions? He isn’t paying the bills and he is trashing what is being done almost immediately after you get something completed.
