Damn, that quartzite is exactly what I should have put in my kitchen. Instead, I have granite that looks exactly like that, but its shine isn’t holding up very well.

There is so much going on with that ceiling! Painting it would blend the rest of the design features that you all have carefully selected. That son is a pill! He’s been given too much power and latitude!

I just loaded more photos to the photo group.
I’ll post a little later about massive trials and tribulations this past week. But, to start, the painter went AWOL at the end of July. He was scheduled to start back up July 28 but was no show. Kept giving me excuses. Then he finally came back and I had to release him for 3 days to go over to the giant HOA stucco job I’m trying to manage at the same time as this project. Finally came back, worked 2 days, and got sick. Forced him to go get a Covid test and of course, he’s got Covid!!! He was one shot in for his vaccinations
I had to stop work and send everyone home. Then I got the Walgreen COVID tests and had to test everyone. 2 days later we are back to work but way way way behind. Have no idea how we are ever going to catch up with all the painting that needs to be done. The guys had to stop their own work and finish painting the master bathroom so we could continue with installs.
Love the photos. I very much agree that the tile planned for the LR wet bar looks great behind the stove.

Everything (other than the messes) is looking great! I suspect the missing bedsheets are buried somewhere in the laundry room.
I love the tile selection…but I have to ask. Is the mom going to be paying for a weekly housekeeper to clean up the mess the slob kid makes! If not, those beautiful tiles will be covered with grease in no time…Same for the smooth top stove.
