Each year, my work can run 24/7 from mid Jan to early March and right now I’m a little behind my own target. So the work hangs over my head. But every Wed, after a difficult late afternoon meeting (not related to this work,) a bunch of us go to dinner, hang for about 2.5 hours and bubble and laugh. And today is Wed!
Plus, D1’s bf now has his shoveling groove on.
It’s going to be 81 degrees here at the coast today and I’m meeting friends for happy hour at a lovely place overlooking the ocean. Life is good

The ortho confirmed that while it IS a hairline fracture, it should heal fine BEFORE we go on our trip and no need to take boot or crutches on trip (tho maybe a cane).
