Nah, no monetary option was offered. It would have been nice, though. Not quite sure what I’ll do with mine whenever it arrives.

Just another example of the THE MAN keeping the rest of us plebes down.
Nobody offered me a shirt. Seems like a better marketing strategy would be to go for all of us “mediocre” posters who have remained loyal to the site over the years.

It was something for posters with a certain amount of posts - can’t remember the magic number. I had to say I found it then - and even more now - like a bit of a bribe when the changes hit. To appease posters to keep posting. Who would ever expect loot from a message board?! Not me. I could be totally wrong and just untrusting but after not seeing many changes reversed, I’m still going with my original thoughts.
However, being myself, I will post because I want to - and I have - not because I’m wearing the shirt to prove it!
Enjoy your shirt if you elected to accept the offer! How does it look and let us know if people ask you about it.
I’m grateful for the shirt but until they get rid of this horrendous design, I have zero interest in coming back. It’s just too much of a chore now.

If I had accepted it then I would have had to post about how to get rid of it on the “bag a week” thread. I’m trying to get stuff I don’t need out of my house not in, and I’m trying to not contribute to more unnecessary stuff on this planet. I just can’t see myself ever wearing a CC shirt.
I think it was a minimum of 10,000 posts on the official counter or something. I will see what it looks like—I certainly like the folks on Parent Cafe and have benefited from the great minds here.
I too wish they’d go back to the other format. This one us SO tough on the phone, where I’m usually viewing and posting. Argh!
