Recently, I went to the Verizon Wireless store close to my home because I was having problems with my phone that I got six months ago. It would shut down on a whim. The only way for me to start it back up was to take out the battery, wait a few seconds, then replace the battery. That got a little annoying.

So, when I went to the Verizon store, they said they could do a system upgrade on it and that shouldn’t happen. So I let them. Only problem is now my phone barely works at all. It takes about 10 seconds for me to load any new screen. I feel like they downloaded the vista of cell phone systems onto my cell phone.

I even tried clearing out all my pictures and messages, but it didn’t work.

Is there anything I can do? I can’t get a new phone onto my plan for another year and a half without paying full price (about $500).
