Native American with 2020 and 3.73? Assuming there are no character issues, you are in, I predict. Go Tigers!

It’s not as certain considering your socioeconomic status, but if I was betting, I would say accepted.

Your Native American status provides an enormous boost. You’ll be fine.

If you apply SCEA, theres no way in hell you will get rejected.

Edit: sorry, i thought this was the Stanford board. You’ll get in anyway… loool

Yay…I wish that I was Am. Indian too…congrats…

again, if you were just a random white or asian kid with that resume, you’d be rejeected, but I am certain you will e accepted due to your Native American status  Congrats

I think you guys are overestimating Native American boost -.-

^ yea, I agree. . .

lol “Native American boost”. Just had to note how funny that sounds.

no, native american boost is huge. nothings for sure, but i’d say you’re chances are great.

The Ivies love to increase their Native American numbers–it is the most desirable URM group, as the number of applicants is so low. Agree–the boost is huge.

Four years ago, there was a half native Indian girl. Her SAT were better than yours, but she got in to ALL the ivies + Rice + few others.

Thanks everyone. I thought by making this thread everyone would laugh and say that I have no chance. I’m applying to Princeton as a reach but I figure the application fee is worth it. Thanks everyone and if anyone else has an opinion please comment. Thanks.

Ooh, an Eagle Scout. I hope that you get in because I’m going to be an Eagle as well and I need re-assurance that it helps a lot.

Anyway, no offense or anything, I’m not trying to be racist here… But since you’re Native American your chances skyrocket. I don’t think you would get in if you were Asian. (But I would hope you would.) So I’m going to say that you will probably be accepted. What rank are you?

On an unrelated note… Why are you a supporter of the party of Rush Limbaugh and Faux News?

Ok, well I am just going to echo what all of the posters so far have said. You are a Native American, thus you have an ABSOLUTELY INSANE boost to your resume and will most likely get in. HOWEVER, there is no way on this Earth you would get in if you were White or Asian…so thank your acceptance almost solely to Affirmative Action…whether this is right or wrong…who am I to say.

To the OP: what tribe?

Saugus, why are you a supporter of the party of Bill Ayers and MSNBC? I’m not a conservative (and neither a complete liberal), but I couldn’t help noticing that your comments are easily applied to both sides. Moreover, someone’s chance thread isn’t really the appropriate arena to air petty political grievances.

It’s a tribe that has and is still struggling for federal recognition. It’s a great story and you should all check it out. I’m a Republican because I’m pro life and I feel government spending is out of control. However I have a good bit of views that would be classified as Liberal.

I like you weswood = D.
