<p>Which part of Virginia do you live in? I’ve heard that applicants from certain areas of VA, especially NOVA, have a much harder time getting into UVA. Maybe it’s because there are so many applicants from that area or something, I’m not sure, but in any case, that’s how it is…</p>

<p>low SAT scores, especially writing. If you don’t get those up you might get waitlisted.</p>

<p>UVa will be a reach for you. SAT is a bit too low.</p>

<p>SAT is on the lower end of the spectrum…but i thnk that u have taken the SAT only once…and therefore i advise u to take it once more i feel that u will get above 2050+ also look into the ACT…try to bring the Math and CR to about 1400 and then u will have a very good shot…being instate and in the top 10% of the class will definitely help.</p>
