Chance/Match Kentucky Senior applying to T20 [4.0 GPA, 36 ACT, advanced college math, math and/or ME major]

Agree. And kids interests change and morph (that’s why you want them in college, right?)

A math kid may decide that working with polling and census data is the most interesting problem in the world right now- and so a minor in Poli Sci makes sense. Another kid may discover that he or she can get paid to pursue their love of baseball by marrying statistics with some finance courses. A third kid may work on a research project with a professor and discover that mapping disease transmission around the world is the coolest thing ever– and so rather than doubling up on engineering, kid wants to take more Life Sciences, Bio, genetics to better understand this field.
