Chance me and Match as a student from NJ [3.7 UW, 1420 SAT, biology or neuroscience]

Ok, so no need to apply to RPI.
Focus on Rutgers, TCNJ, Rowan, and NJIT.

Rowan is really growing for science and you qualify for automatic invitation to the Honors College (doesn’t mean you’ll get in but it does mean you meet the academic baseline they want to see, the rest will be up to you through your application, ie’, are you academically curious, are you an interesting person to have in a seminar and on campus vs. someone who’d just sit and never participate…)

NJIT has a well-funded Honors College. They look for students who are top 10% of their HS class and have ~1500 SAT but they consider lots of profiles as long as you’re excellent at sciences, civic-minded, and interested in a global outlook (study abroad and away, daily life impact of science in various regions of NJ, the US, and elsewhere in the world).

TCNJ has this

See whether other universities have something similar. You could also email admissions to ask (this would likely be considered “demonstrated interest”.
