This is really good. I think they will like the fact that you volunteer. That is one thing I can’t BELIEVE that I forgot in my application! Also since MUN is usually for 11 & 12th graders, I think it should be easy for you to get into the schools you had good interviews with.
Thank u sm!! I think volunteering is something you can get easily out of anything you do in your community so it’s probably not too late to find something small that you do and put it on your application! You might think its something small or not worthy of being on your application but schools might love it!
i think you have a great chance! im also applying as a 9th grader to andover, exeter, choate, hotchkiss, peddie, blair, deerfield, and sps! good luckkk!!!
Aaah! So scared that today is D-Day! I’m also an international applicant applying for full aid, and feels so refreshing to see someone like that. Your stats are amazing tbh! but I’m only applying to Hotchkiss since the other schools I applied to didn’t waive my ssat. My recs were awesome and I have a few ecs like chess, writing, etc. I have won a state award for literature and also participated in a un program as a speaker once (as student rep). I got amazing ranks in Olympiads during grades 5 and 6, but then my school stopped it ;-;. Good luck and I hope you’ll get in!
Im doing okay since I actually got accepted into Concord already (I used the little hack to check lol) so that has taking the edge off. I always thought my top choice would be choate but rn Im really looking at madeira because of their internship programs. Wbu? where are you applying? and dww! I was SO nervous that I wouldn’t get into any of these schools since Im an international student requiring full fa but I ended up getting in! Dont be nervous at ALL. You’re gonna be just fine! I gtg to school now in my time haha all my decisions will be out when I get back. GLLL!!
What hack? The results gonna come at midnight and I’m sleep deprived due to the harsh summer… I’m just applying to Hotchkiss because I’ve connected with alums and my mum has a lot of friends in CT who used to work with her. I have overplanning tendencies and having the responsibility of my whole school is not it lmao
Damn concord? They are very picky about international applicants, and d the fact ta you’re applying for ful aid too? Awesome! Their yearly tuition is more than any other school I’ve known. That’s insane! Keep it up!
