It’s way too soon to get stressed about you ED application to any school. You won’t be receiving a decision for another 10 1/2 months. You have a great profile and will undoubtedly admitted to some of the schools on your list. Will it be Dartmouth? No one here can say.

Good luck to you! And try to not get to stressed. Just put together the best application you can, and see where that takes you.

Clearly, you are not a senior now or you would already have heard from Dartmouth. Their ED decisions come out in Mid December.

Between now and when you send applications, please discuss annual college financing budget with your parents. You will want to run the net price calculators for these colleges to be sure they meet your parent price point…do this late summer.

One thing that I am not clear about: Are you a high school junior who is planning on applying to Dartmouth ED next year, or are you a high school senior who has already applied, and if so wouldn’t you have already heard back?

If you are a junior, then you still have time to adjust your list of schools to apply to. If this is the case, and given that you are considering being premed, you should find out what your budget is for a full 8 years of university. Four years at some of the schools on your list, plus four more years for an MD program, could for example easily cost $900,000. The large majority of students who start university thinking “premed” end up doing something else and there is a long list of “something else” to choose from. However, you do not want finances to get in the way if you stick with medical school as your path in life.

Junior or Senior - why stress ? Have a balanced list and you do. Is Dartmouth affordable as ED is binding.

If this is your full profile you’ve done all you can. You cannot control what the schools decide.

You have at least three acceptances. Med school - all will be great. Pre med is not a major so …but you don’t need one now. Any major is pre med.

Just my opinion - Colgate seems an odd inclusion.

Whatever year -best of luck.

But have the opportunity to attend a great school.
