  • Achievement awards in every subject
  • I am on set to take all Honors classes in 8th grade

I love learning, especially Math, Science, and Arts and Humanities. I plan to take AP courses in high school and pursue internships or job shadowing opportunities to explore my interest in becoming a doctor though a BS/MD program.

Standardized Tests:
I haven’t taken the SSAT yet, but I am preparing for it.

Interviews:
I haven’t had my interviews yet.

I’ve chosen these boarding schools for their strong science labs and research programs, excellent volleyball teams, and comprehensive financial aid opportunities.

Thank you for any insights you can provide!

Things to consider: Will you be able to have a campus visit for these schools? How do your parents feel about applying to BS? How well can you see yourself at each school and what is it that you can contribute to the community? If there are 10 applicants like you, what allows the school to see you how you would thrive and grow and see you as a member of a close knit community? I would also consider Groton for all your interests as well as some schools like Kent, Northfield Mount Herman, and Pomfret.

If you need a great deal of aid to attend, you should double or even triple the number of schools to which you are applying. Find more schools, including less selective schools, that fit your profile. Also apply to some girls schools. It is very, very hard to find a full ride.

Also, start studying for and taking sample SSAT test now. You need solid scores to back up the grades and busy schedule if you are asking for that level of support. Also, consider editing the list above. You sound busy but the list seems unlikely.

What should I do to edit the list?
