Schools

  1. GA TECH OOS ELEC ENGINEERING (brother went there)

If a scholarship is necessary for affordability, indicate that you are aiming for a scholarship and use the scholarship chance to estimate it into the appropriate group below; also, for colleges that admit by major or division, consider that in chance estimate.

  • Assured (100% chance of admission and affordability):

  • Extremely Likely:

  • Likely:

  • Toss-up:

  • Lower Probability:

  • US domestic (US citizen or permanent resident) or international student

  • State/Location of residency:

  • Type of high school (or current college for transfers):

  • Other special factors: (first generation to college, legacy, recruitable athlete, etc.)

Apply and see.

You are worthy of applying with strong grades and an above average SAT.

Ga schools limit the OOS students - so it’s hard to know.

Best of luck.

If GT means Georgia Tech, you might want to read the following:

No, the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship is designed specifically for
in-state tuition and fees at Florida public colleges and universities , not out-of-state tuition, and it covers 100% of those costs for academic scholars. While you can use it at eligible private Florida institutions, it doesn’t cover out-of-state costs, as it’s a state-funded program for Florida residents attending school in Florida

I missed the cost since he said a brother went but perhaps he means Florida Pre-Paid, which was very popular in Florida and can be used OOS.

Yeah my bad I just had copied and pasted from my previous chance me for UF.

It looks like GT takes HS GPA at face value from your HS transcript. If not available, it will recalculate with +0.5 for AP, IB, DE, and AS/A-levels.

So you have Bright Futures and you’d rather go to Ga Tech vs. UF? Can you afford $55K a year?

I fixed the title to GA Tech instead of GT. Instead of creating threads for each school, it might be easier if you included all of your schools in the same Chance Me thread.
