Put major over school - not school over major. You shouldn’t even apply to NU. Maybe WashU instead.
Forget the transfer - it’s why schools like UVA and UNC Are a big risk.
You are focused on a name. I am focused on you - if you’re legit, that’s what matters. Va Texh, Bama, Ohio State, Minnesota - they all have IB grads. U Houston - yep.

Believe in yourself. Apply for the major you want. If they don’t have, skip it.
Nope. 13.9% is currently posted on their website. They revised it upward because they had to go to their wait list. They still haven’t posted numbers on their common data set, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they revise it again as their final numbers eventually settle in.
Unfortunately, undergraduate business has become a very tough admit across the board. In many schools, you either get in or do not (bet you know that), without consideration for other majors… and other schools. My son has a very similar list to yours, with the same major, with the same 800 math and a higher verbal. He has much better math track and 5’s on all AP’s including BC Calc. His leadership and activities are a good level stronger than yours. My point is that I am nervous about him being admitted to these same places because you and he are both increasing the level of difficulty at these schools because of your major choice.
I think that Penn State business is safe for you. Safe means 75%+ percent and you need 3 to have a proper list and you do not have that. I think you will pull Maryland, Florida, Wisconsin, and Illinois - but they are not safe. As far as the rest go, I think you will get 1 other - likely Georgetown, UTA, Emory or Georgia Tech but those can be tough. I think IU would also go your way.
Although this site was posted earlier, it may be worth posting again simply to suggest that you consider more colleges that place notably well in Wall Street and IB positions when adjusted for enrollment:
At this stage, you have included Georgetown, Northwestern and NYU, but no others.
Unless the other schools with EA have restrictive EA where applying there means not applying ED anywhere (and possibly not applying EA to some set of other schools), then there should be no issue applying ED to one school and EA to other schools. Of course, the applicant needs to be sure that if the ED application results in admission, they will matriculate there, regardless of what the EA applications give.
You still have Penn State - UMD and Florida right.
Penn State (not Honors) is a given I think. UMD is a likely and Florida a toss up.
I just want to ensure you’re not shut out (if only UVA - which restricts OOS population, UT - which is near impossible OOS, UNC - which restricts OOS population even more than UVA, and UM.
Yup, I still have those three. My list hasn’t changed at all, except for removing CMU. I was thinking of adding a couple more safety schools (ideally in PA) that would be considered safety schools. Do you have any opinions?
In terms of your profile, as @heavyweightcollege said Pitt is tye other biggie. Then the third is Temple. There’s lots of other publics but you are an easy in for Pitt (not easy for Honors) but they have rolling admission so don’t wait too long.
Schools like Millersville and Bloomsburg - you don’t need.
Given you rip b school desires, I’d throw an app into private Villanova and Bucknell as well and maybe Dickinson. Bucknell if I had to choose one. For Econ, Lafayette and maybe too small but F&M.
You’d get into some - including Bucknell I believe - and it’s the one that I believe could be most impactful.
In salary and career surveys, it’s regularly atop or close to the top of LACs in part because of their school of management. And yes they place in IB - but so do many.
