Have you gotten in anywhere ?

I’m guessing you will not - based on this list - except perhaps Miami and likely GW.

No SAT or ACT score?

If accepted, are these colleges affordable for your family?

Well…you should have gotten an EA decision from UNC CH by now.

NYU could go either way.

Yes they are affordable for my family. I went on test optional and was deferred from unc

Your profile is great EC and rigor wise, but Stern has an admit rate under 5%. It’s a reach for everyone, and it will be so especially for a 3.5 uw GPA unfortunately. Did you submit a test score ?

I explained my low gpa in my app and I went test optional

Several on your list already gave decisions. Miami for example.

Can you update who has accepted, denied, deferred, etc.

I applied rd to everywhere except for unc which was I deferred

Ok, it’s hard to chance with an explained low GPA because we can’t know how the school would perceive that. I do think a test score would have helped mitigate that but regardless, even with a high GPA and test score it’s a reach for everyone.

You could go 0 for although GW is possible.

Not sure of your test score but if your gpa suffered and you justified, a strong test could have provided validation.

Full pay gives you a shot at GW and Miami but you might need to plan for a late accepting public with a great b school like Bama or Arizona as a back up.

Just looking at your list again. Did you apply to any safeties?

I know you are asking about NYU on this thread…but I have to agree…are there any sure things for admission on your application list?

If not, I would agree, you might want to submit an application or two to a couple of colleges with programs you are interested in…where you have a stronger chance of acceptance.

Either that or just wait and see.

yes ofc I also applied to IU, Vtech, UMD, Penn State purdue

Where are you in-state for?

GW is your best hope and I think it is a toss up. Stern won’t happen.

should I submit a 28 act

You’ve applied - is it not too late ? Depends where.

Where have you gotten in ?

IU - not business I assume

Purdue - not sure about business

I’m guessing those happen.

Have you gotten in anywhere yet ?

got into IU and Purdue and Rutgers so far

Did you get into Purdue and Rutgers for business?

If not, the question then becomes - would you choose GW over those two?

If so, why?

IU, obviously you did not get in for business.

Won’t help at NYU. The 25th percentile for the university as a whole is 33, and Stern is likely to be at least at that level if not higher.
