• I come from Mozambique (3rd world country)
• Igcse school
• Ranked 1 in province, but barely anything compared to scjool in the capital or other countries near by
• 8th grade, applying for 9th
• My school isnt very athletics based so there arent any sports (even though we have an athletics event for some reason). I would like to join Track, Volleyball, and/orTennis

Please chance me. I am applying for financial aid so i know my chances are lower. Please be brutally honest, and give me tips on improving. I am also bi lingual (english is my first language, portuguese is my second), barely, and am from Mozambique and Nigeria. Please chance me, Thanks.

You look like you’d be a great addition to any community and that you’re a real go-getter. If you were full or high pay, I think you’d have options.

I’d suggest in your interviews that you ask/confirm whether they have scholarships for the level of need you have given that you are international. You have a good range of selectivity, but it’s still a short list. Many schools are a bit ambiguous around FA for foreign students.

If you expand your list, you might want to see if any of the girls schools have full scholarships for international students. They are fully and exclusively committed to the success of women.

Also, while you can only do it starting junior year, if you’re not successful, take a look at United World College.

I made sure all the schools i am applying to offer demonstrated need lr merit scholarships to international students too. I have also considered uwc and am willing to join an online school for a bit, if things dont go my way.
