WHAT ARE MY CHANCES?

bummmmmppp

To be honest, the SAT score is mostly what Buffalo cares about. Since they are primarily merit based, the extracurriculars, while good, will do little, something my hs counselors emphasized wrongly (it’s SUNY, not a private liberal arts university). The 1020 is ok, but the writing should be a little higher to be on the safer side. The average SAT score for 75% of the campus is around a 1040, so your admission, in my opinion, hinges heavily upon application turnout. Since your GPA is as good as it is and you have extracurriculars, it will definitely give you a lift above someone else’s similar 1020. You probably will get accepted but I don’t want to sit here and say you’re guaranteed admission.

Jjjkell87, its not a 1020, 580 and 520 is 1100

Probably have a good chance. I’m just going around what other people said they got at the university though. I know for a fact a good deal got below an 1100.
