Probably the guy who thought he could play basketball on the CWRU team just because he thought he was good at basketball or the one who wanted a “Western” girlfriend. Good luck, SuperAzn69. For the record, I am a UC Berkeley alumna. My daughter was over the moon, that I did not insist she attend even though we live 15 minutes from campus. It just wasn’t her thing. Too many people, too much grade grubbing, and not enough learning, savoring - this is a big picture description. We live in San Francisco - great location, great schools, lots of things to do, diverse, great food. Yet my daughter chose CWRU, not because it was the “best” school she could get into - because she felt like it was a good fit, a challenge for her major, and because she felt like she could grow - yes in all places, Cleveland.
