I’m an Indian kid although I lived for 13 years in Ghana and thereafter shifted to Dubai where I am currently in the first year of my IB Diploma. I believe my stats are very competitive although I don’t know whether they are competitive enough for my dream school: UPenn. I want to study economics and finance in university.
Here are my stats:
GRADES
School is on a 4.0 scale and IB subjects get a 0.25 point boost.
My weighted GPA is 4.13/4.25 and my unweighted is 3.93/4.0
I am confident that I will be able to get a 43/44 predict for IB
I take: HL Math, HL Econ, HL Music, SL Physics, SL French, SL Lang Lit
My GPA is a little low because we were forced to take Arabic in school freshman year in which I got a B first semester and A+ second semester.
CLASS RANK: We do not do class ranks although I am fairly certain that in a class of 250 children I am in the top 4%.
SAT SCORES:
Math: 800, Reading+Writing:740 (1540 total)
Essay: 22/24
Got this score on my first try and don’t plan to retake.
SAT 2: Math 2: 800, Literature: have not taken but expect 750+
