Don’t know what else to write… Recs- I hope very good. Essay - don’t know…

is it an official FIDE rating? Because if so you should definitely mention it.

As for your chances, I think they are fairly good. Your SATs are slightly lower than Harvard’s average, but your academics, ECs and work experience certainly look impressive. It would also help if your course selection at school was among the most demanding possible.

If your college has printed your application or imported your information into their database, you will see “Downloaded” and the date downloaded.

I see “Downloaded” against “Harvard College”, so it must have been downloaded and processed

it has been downloaded, that doesn’t necessarily mean it has been processed. Once they process it, they will email you the Access Code. Until then you have no choice but to wait.

Just a myth. One applicant with 2400 will certainly have more than 5% chance, and another with 1800 SAT will have significantly less. You can take other than SAT factor of admission, and it will be true in some way too, so you can’t say that it’s just a stupid lottery and anyone has the same chances of winning. It’s a competition.

I have sent them e-mail requesting my pin, but they answered “pin- denied”, so i suppose they haven’t yet processed it. But how much time can it take? More than 10 days have passed…

It’s clear that you have chances; especially if you demonstrated a particular passion for one of your activities in your application. Harvard says that if you don’t get your PIN by February 1st, you must inform them.

True to some extent, but not so true in another sense. Sure, a 1800 SAT scorer has less chances than the average applicant. However, at a certain level you still have a lot of students left that are academically able and do not have significant differences when it comes to what they have achieved so far. It then is a matter of luck, if you like it or not.
