You seem to have a great record. You don’t add much in the way of “extras” but you’d certainly have a chance at any of the schools assuming your extras are robust - with UMD being a near certainty.

You’d also qualify for huge merit at other schools if you have cost concerns or want to save six figures in cost.

Congrats - and best of luck.

Are you asking your chances at Cornell, UVA, UMD and Georgia Tech?

Here are my opinions about those.

  1. IF you apply to UMD, do so in the early round where they accept grater than 90% of their incoming class.

  2. Cornell is a reach for anyone applying. So…can’t really chance you there.

  3. Georgia Tech…you have a good chance but not guaranteed.

  4. UVA…you are instate so that’s good. But why isn’t Virginia Tech on your list?

  5. How much will your parents pay annually for you to attend college.

What’s your budget?

Do you qualify for any need-based financial aid?
