Last year, our team placed 3rd out of 81 teams in the Baltimore area, the highest finish in school history. In addition to the televised show, my team and I attend various tournaments sponsored by the host school. These tournaments usually follow a system similar to the televised show.

-The seasons have not yet started for Varsity Indoor Track and Field and Varsity Outdoor Track and Field, but as of now, I plan to continue with both. I have indicated as such.

Maryland Math League is a six-part mathematics examination given once per month throughout the year. Last year, I earned the highest overall total out of the students in my school, and placed in the top 50 statewide.

-I was unable to continue Marching Band into my twelfth year because I am not enrolled in a band class this year, due to a scheduling conflict between band and AP Statistics. At my school, you must enroll in a band class to be eligible to be in the Marching Band; as such, I was unable to participate in twelfth grade.

Is UVa gonna be dicey, or do I have good shot?

You’ll have a great shot but, as you’re probably aware, it’s far from guaranteed.

You will be accepted to UVA. 95% sure. Your credentials are so above and beyond the average applicant.

Yea you look good but who’s us to decide? We’re not admission officers. The best way to find out is to apply. Good luck with RD though!

lol @ hazhulkhen

Well, I’m still gonna spend lots of time on my app. UVA is one of my top choices. I just wrote my short essay, and I really like it. Im just having trouble picking the write essay for B…

Oh yeah, I meant 95% if you submitted a real application, effort included. In fact I’m so confident that I would bet money on your application. UVA’s great and I think they’ll be happy to have you.

mk well shoot the rest of us if this person doesn’t get in. cause that’s stupid. u are like super smart, super devoted. etc. etc. and all that. i’m sure u’ll get in, the only thing is since ur out of state… but whatever. don’t worry.
