Ive noticed there is character skill snapshot is it work doing?
Some schools need it after acceptance. I think Andover does. So you can do it and not send the report to schools till it’s needed. It is not reported in the SSAT score report.
We had schools request it in the application. We paid for it, but never did it. No one asked for it nor marked it missing. We applied to the all the top schools.
Would It effect my acceptance rate?
No, it will not affect acceptance .But take it since atleast 1 school may ask for it after acceptance.
This is what Andover says “ While the SSAT is not required this year, if you choose to take it, you will have the option to also take the Character Skills Snapshot if you would like to do so. The CSS is an engaging self-inventory exercise that applicants often enjoy completing. Please note: Even if applicants choose to take the CSS, our admission committee will not view the results until after our March 10 decision release date. CSS results may be used for student onboarding purposes but will not be used for admission.”
Can I take it after acceptance?
I’m pretty sure you can take it at any time. I’d just like to restate @GPS said, some schools require it after acceptance, so whether or not you need to take it after acceptance depends on what schools you get accepted to.

When I was at an Exeter Admissions event, I actually asked about taking the snapshot. One of the creators of the snapshot was there and was an AO! He said that it’s a really great tool, but even he, a partial creator of it, would not recommend taking it, especially if it’s a financial burden. He did say though, “maybe in future years.”

Eeehhhh, if you’ve got the money and think you’ll get a good score, why not, I guess? I wouldn’t though especially because the AO said he wouldn’t recommend.
