Character Snapshot

My daughter is applying to Thacher School, which requires the “Character Snapshot.” She has recieved positive results, and I’m considering submitting it to other schools on her list.

However, I’m concerned that submitting the Character Snapshot to other schools might inadvertently signal a strong preference for Thacher to the admissions committees. Given Thacher’s high yield rate, I’m hesitant to potentially disadvantage her applications to other schools.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation? Would you recommend submitting the Character Snapshot broadly, or should we limit its use to the Thacher application?

Personally, I’d only send where required or “recommended.” I’m of the opinion it’s a flawed metric and am further of the opinion that if schools wanted it, they’d ask for it.
