10 AP is a lot man. i will probably take 3, maybe 4 if i can use my time effectivly, or 5 if i am crazy.

还是老乡讲了两句公道话!鼓掌!
至于十门爱皮嘛,我是不敢假打地。

I Just Came From China Last Summer.
The Calculus Is Easy For Me, Because We Learn Much Harder Algebra In China.
The Physics Is Somehow Harder Because We Need To Use The Calculuse.
The Us History Is Too Hard For Me, Especially The American Pageant, The Book Which I Think Is Too Difficult To Understand.
The Chemisty Is Relatively Easier.
I’m Using The Review Books For Self Study, Us And Comparative Government, Micro And Macro Eco, And Psychology.

Actually, I Found, Using A Review Book Is Quite Better Than Taking The Ap Couse To Get A 5 On The Test, I Only Spent About 20 Days And I Finished Both Economics, And Scored A High 5 On The Model Tests. And I Assume I Can Finish Ap Government And Psychology In This Way. It’s Much Easier Than Taking The Ap Class And Doing The Interminable Homeworks!

I am totally lost in this conversation. but heck, who cares?

"还是老乡讲了两句公道话"
我打了好半天哦,就只算两句哦,呵呵?

hi, anyone know how to enable bluetooth remote control (human interface device) on motorola l7?

any advice appreciated,

our econ class never has hw… but i hear our gov has alot of crazy hw, so i never took/study it

government was required according to michigan law… and so is econ, but you are allowed to waive econ, and NOT allowed to waive government in anyway. so bascially its an extremely easy class cuz 30% of the class is not going to college, 30 to community college, probably 30 local state schools (not u of michigan but more like central michigan caliber)

i took 11 AP tests last may… it took me 3 weeks cuz luckily our school messed up so i got to take 2 on make-up days or else i would’ve died. the WORST 3 weeks of my life. i slept dreaming about chemistry, and ate while reading governments of india

hahaha i was thinking… wat if the nose thing is because of evolution??

like… handsome guys with tall noses have a higher chance of leaving offsprings because the wife of flatnose guys have affairs with highnose guys and over the course of a few generations it led to a shift in phenotype… [especially since most western traits are dominant–like being hairy (weird, most asian traits are recessive).]

but i like your explanation better utoyxc and its probably more accurate/true.

i think im crazy… i’ve been listening to really weird songs lately and totally in love with them… who wants to buy my vegetables?!?

haha…xo. most if not all of those physical traits are multifactorial. it’s usually not one’s dominant over another, more like a bunch of them showing some codominance/imcomplete dominance. it’d take ages for a shift like that to occur…

and plus some ppl like flat noses

Darn lol reading through all these Chinese i just realized my Chinese reading skills has slipped alot. Looks like Ill have to go to school when i go to China this year.

i recommend you to have school in a local high school, and taste the high school education in china. that will be surprising.
I have just come here, our former scheduel: 7:30 AM-10:00PM

I still like my high school life in China though. I had so many close friends. we had so much fun. we did so many stupid but exciting things. anyway, there are so many precious moments to cherish, I wish I could start from high school again…

utoyxc… that sounds crazy… 7:30 - 10:00…

high school in america = waking up in the morning at 6:30. college = 8:00!! i used to think 8:00 was only for indulgences. but then… i really dont understand how it works in china because REALISTICALLY you have to sleep for at least 4 - 5 hours / day… and that is very taxing on your body too.

i seriouslly could not get all my homework done last year in highschool if i did not stay up until 1 every night and on some nights stayed up the entire night. i get home at around 3, and i sleep for an hour and shower and eat and then start studying. if you get home at 10 and sleep at 2, thats only 4 hours to study.

i don’t like part of china cuz you’re not independently studying. so many 补习班 补习班 补习班… its like… such a waste of time. i dont even feel motivated enough to go to class because i learn faster and more thorough alone, reading a textbook. perhaps a recitation every week to clear up stuff i didnt understand from the reading would be nice. but sticking a person in class for 15 hours does not mean they are going to learn. i just tune the teacher out and end up wasting time.

i’m sorry i made a ambiguity.
i was talking about our former high school schedule. there, we all live on campus, the schedule prescribed that no one can leave classroom until 10:00.
and actually, our class end in 5:50, and after a dinner, at 7:30, we must come back to classroom to finish the self-study periods for 2 hours and a half.
and for junior or seniors, when we get to the dorm, we still need extra time to finish the works that are impossible to be done in the self-study periods, especially seniors, working until 1:00 is common.
as a result, high school victims, are commonly near-sighted. over 70% of chinese high school students are wearing glasses, the real ones, not sunglasses.

more over, the 补习班 is not really designed to boost our scores.
schools are so clear about the results of extra-time learn, in our school, the national celebration vocation is 7 days prescribed by law, but for seniors, there’s only 2 days availiable, the rest 5 days are encroached. schools are telling, it’s up to you, you can come and you can be absent, but the truth is, you are violating the schools’ will, you dictatory teacher’s will, and probably you mom’s will, if you choose to avoid it.
however, actually no one’s really putting heart in the holiday killer, so they learn much less than the time consumed.
the school know the facts, so does the education system leaders. but they have two common goal
1: to create a tense atmosphere of the severety of the tests, and thus gain more caring towards them.
2: most of the holiday killer are requiring payment, and normally not a small amount.

but don’t u guys see, that’s the beauty of it!i can’t say i love those classes, but that’s part of middle school and high school in china though.your experience won’t be complete without it.i remember getting off from those night classes and seriously had trouble seeing in the dark and could hardly walk straight because i’ve been studying too long.and it’s not 补习班so much,it’s usually just 晚自习.

haha van. maybe u’re right. i kind of wish there was a 晚自习 where i can study and other people are studying too. i mean… here… im TOTALLY on my own. if i dont bother going to class, my life = in a room alone reading book after book highlighting and memorizing and writing papers.

one of the important point i made last time was that just becuase you are IN a class doesn’t mean you are LEARNING and vice versa. learning is a voluntary action, u have to WANT to learn and be WILLING to learn, or else it will all just be 对牛弹琴, a waste of your time, your parents time, yoru energy, your parent’s energy, the teacher’s time and energy, your parents money, resources of the society… yada yada the list could go on.

but then again, because im ENTIRELY on my own i feel very very very stressed sometimes because i cant manage my time well. i want to do so much, yet sometimes i get lazy, and getting lazy has serious consequences. i mean… when i registered for class i was soo ambitious and took up 5 courses -mostly “honors” and a senior level philosophy class- and 2 labs. now im feeling the toll because any moment i dont feel ambitious enough to DRIVE myself through the night ends in a bad grade… and that is just cannot happen or else everything will be a waste. i wish there was someone FORCING me to study everyday, but there is nothing except midterms and finals, so bascially i slack off for 5 weeks watching chinese drama and then don’t sleep for a week. the material is getting a little too heavy for me to keep doing this… i really really really really want to be a goodgirl and just study every night like those chinese-internationals.

you cannot learn 15 chapters of biology in 10 hours… eh… so i should probably keep on going keep on drilling keep on moving keep on drinking that coffee and push through this im probably not going to sleep for a few days but the end justifies the means however i get there doesn’t matter all that matters is a good grade

well xo different people have people ways of studying.i guess i’m like “those chinese-internationals”,i pretty much study every night.even last night, cos i have four midterms next week,i was studying(and doing other stuff in between of course) until like 2.yeaaaaaaa,kinda pathetic if u think about it.all those people partying outside and me trying to memorize the immune system.so if you’re one of those people who are good at cramming,do it.i can’t cram.i panic if i leave everything til the end.i seriously will start hyperventilating or something.i know people say you shouldn’t cram and you should do things a little bit at a time but if you study well when u cram, screw them and do it your way.
well,my sunday night was wasted.being studying and doing other stuff like chatting and watching taiwan tv shows in between.mostly watching taiwan tv shows.
