van…i bet you talk as fast as you type (…put some ’ 's in your sentences!!) :D

i have an essay due during break. can you believe it? anyways. this time it’s an album review. and i was going to write it on the Secret Garden since it doesn’t have lyrics (i’m lazy). but a friend just recommended jay chou…and i think i like his idea. so this way i can bs all i want, and my prof would have no idea if i’m right or wrong. lol
yea. and i know nothing about jay chou too…this is going to be FUN

and gosh. does anyone have this habit of wanting to eat nonstop when you are thinking hard…?? i’m such a pig

its my birthday today :D

anyways… i just got done with a week of hell… and now i just realized at this particular moment that i have a chem midterm friday, but at least it’s still monday, and not thursday, by which i would die. ahhh back to the library.

so you will be 20 xo? well, happy birthday.

no… i turn 19!

yy: I can help ya bs jay chou. i know so well about him…

ykm: haha next time think twice before you make comment like this.

haha. happy belated birthday xo

it’s alright. i’m done bs’ing. let’s just hope my prof doesn’t listen to jay chou…

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

:D  Happy Holi to everyone  :D

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

oh,sorry about that xo. your info says u r 19 since the first time i seen u in the chinese thread. 10 cents sorry.

o really? lol its okay! thanks everyone!~

bs on jay chou?? y bs!? u’ll enjoy writing about him. november’s chopin is awesome… except i dunno… i get tired of his voice after a while cuz theres no inflection its just — — ----- ------- – – ---- instead of like other singers ––`````—``--`-_ did that even make sense? lol im weird like that

shenrikuaile! wow sory i missed ur bday

whats inflection? he likes to jump alot of pitches stm

well… for jay chou… sometimes i wonder whether if he can sign an entire song in one note… since most of his songs are like… 1 note… then switch to another note… you can probably play the melody of his song on a toy 1 octave piano… instead of, lets say, 在那桃花盛开的地方…… where u’d probably need like 3-4 octaves and some short keyboards cannot even fulfill

oops!so sorry xo!
happy belated birthday!!!

actually you can play the melody of most chinese pop songs on a toy piano. but jay chou’s music is attractive mostly due to the electrical sound and all that stuff. you really need a big band to play his songs.
and yes, i still like his music no matter what. sometimes i do get tired of his songs, then i switch to someone else’s. you remember last time i listened to 电台情歌 for several days. i am back to jay chou again.
oh did anyone hear jay sing 陈小春’s 献世 in cantonese? it’s pretty interesting. my friends say it sounds just like how i speak cantonese (much better than me actually  )

haha… me and cantonese do not mix. i dont think im drawn toward it, so no incentives to learn it. i only know ni hao ma, and nothing more. i think i block it out and don’t care about it. but i do love chinese intensively i dunno why… its like i really experienced that if u like something u will just engulf it hungrily. like i learned SOO much while i was in china, from just walking down the street. i payed attention to EVERYTHING while i was in xi’an… like my brain was “open” it was hungry, i was there for a little more than a month alone and know almost everything about the city from where the good foods are, where each road was, where there was construction, the orientation of the city… what bus goes where, where is there oneway and hard for taxies… history of the city… history of each of the gates of the city including the names…etc… just… everything i loved xi’an… and i leanred so much chinese literally from walking down the street. i was actively “reading” everything… all the street signs. i’ve only had 1st grade education, but as of now i can miraculously read and “write (with computers of course, my handwriting is horrible)” without any former education

i know i want to go abroad, but i don’t know if i should pick xi’an jiao da just cuz its home or be daring and go to bei da or qing hua cuz its challenging, for a semester.

But everyone, just think about it, how on earth can a little island like Taiwan ever oppose the giant developing world power like China? I say no way.

uh… what? oppose? y oppose? when brothers fight (or sisters too i guess), is there more love or more hate? taiwan is part of china btw… and when the nationalists ran away to taiwan, all the rich ppl took all their riches to taiwan

if u wanna talk econ comparison, places like taiwan, and shanghai are considered well developed and make up noticably large parts of the chinese economy. hongkong is one of the most matured, stable, and thriving economies in the world, and their best industries are some of the most profitable possible. but then theres the rural areas everywhere that are real heart breakers

i was walking around campus… and there were these “students for a free tibet” posters advertising films they were showing… when no one was watching i ripped as many as i could down :D:D:D:D

hahaha JinFx that’s not nice…but yea, ppl should have rights to express their opinions. I don’t think your posts should be deleted, especially on an American forum. You can say how controversial his point was, but you shouldn’t block him from expressing his ideas, as long as it’s not terrorism or something. well maybe the admin is an Indian  (oh don’t get me wrong I don’t hate Indians)
I think the falungong groups in foreigh countries are different from those in China. these groups mainly focus on exercising, rather than politics. but i could be wrong coz i never got any flyers from them. I still have trouble get close to these ppl b/c of the perception i got from the chinese falungong practitioners. those practitioners were just…i mean, what’s wrong with them? what made them believe such dumb things like humans have 3 eyes? about the free tibet part, i am not quite familiar.
democracy and communism are two different kinds of things. ppl usually compare communism with capitalism. and these two are absolutely not the same thing.

Just come by and say good luck to all of you. I hate the endless waiting.

i was told and believe that falungong people are crazy… i mean… in GENERAL. yah yryuan… what’s wrong with them. they supposidely think if u’re sick u shouldnt visit the doctor u should just self heal. and don’t they put that wheel inside the stomach?? that was the point of calling it "lun’ gong… thats a lil… 邪教…

“The true cause of disease is considered karmic and it is said that pathogens, pathogenic chi etc. which apparently appear to be the cause in this dimension are just modalities through which the karmic cause manifests in this dimension. " “Taking medication during cultivation implies that you do not believe in the disease-curing effects of cultivation. If you believed in it, why would you take medication?” Chinese government has reported more than 1400 dead because of failure to seek medical attention in time of need.

i think im going to read a book by li hongzhi lol to decide for myself… i personally get turned off by people advocating it on the street… cuz they don’t tell u the whole story. i also think it was DUMB of the people to try to prove it a point by burning themselves. that just proves more that they 走火入魔 了, exactly like what the government says.
