no… Azn is for ghetto asians… mostly viets like to do this, sometimes chinese/korean, but much more southeast asia than east

its the azn ■■■■■ f* the rest, dallas to new york jigga, we da best… yah… got rice b* got rice, got food got soup got spice?.. yah… definitely viets. koreans are not azn… they’re just asian

did you guys get finacial aid from your current colleges? from what i have seen these days on the forum, it is extremly hard for intl to get aid from college. that will be suck for us not so competitive ppl.

Hey, I have a question. What if a teacher gives you a great recommendation but writes it poorly? Will that drastically damage the effect? Will it even do me harm???
Arghhhh. How do you even get a teacher to write a nice English recommendation letter in a country where English isn’t primarily spoken???
Thanks, a little agitated here…

rock if ur china maybe you can bs your recs if ur that agitated bout it… but yah… usually recs dont help u, only works against u. like if someone said nice things about u they’d b like okay. if someone said this person is really arrogant then they put an x on ur name

chinese is so awesome! i do not understand how anyone can think its hard. it might be complicated, but as long as you remember…
i tried learning japanese and korean… and THAT is called hard. i just HATE the grammar. chinese grammar = the best most advanced one i KNOW. wth is up with the french, and all those conjugations don’t really clear things up.

what is wrong with “i eat already”… give me a REASON why ate is better than eat. does it not express the same idea??? is the purpose of language not to express ideas clearly? OBVIOUSLY i eat already means the same thing as i ate already… conjugations = waste of time idiots who invented language… *sigh

japanese and korean are weird cuz they are SOV. i do not see how anyone can disagree that chinese is SVO… u say 我吃饭 u never say 我饭吃… which is what you would say in korean/japanese

i completely agree, grammar in any other language is just whimsical and contorted… y would the koreans have the same grammar as japanese? koreans should be on our side… then theres starwars and its VOS

so i got all my acceptances and rejections… its split b/w public and private… ie. the 3 privates (MIT Caltech Stanford) rejected me and the 4 UCs accepted me

man applying to private skools is such a waste of time… all those essays, envelopes, recs, app fees, even teh profile cost $…

yea…chinese grammar is much simpler…
i also don’t understand the need for conjugations etc. lol and even more exasperating is the idea of making nouns masculine/feminine, especially when it’s really abitrary e.g. a tie is ‘feminine’?!:p

guys i need some advice if possible. which would u choose, between Brown and Swarthmore?
