WoW. nice one li. i actually second thought about it when i read the post

I am so sad~ my SAT scores betrayed me!

what did u get? i m going to take my this weekened

790 on chemistry
I have learned chemistry for nearly four years, I was 100000000% sure that I could get a 800 without missing any question. but actually i just got a 790.
i feel so defeated, I feel sad.
It doesn’t matter if i just learned chemistry for one year, but that’s 4 years, My confedence was shattered.
especially, after i saw thousands of 800s in this site, or even more.

haha…haha…haha…

its really the same thing… anything above 750

i took chem my last 2 yrs and forgot all of it by the start of this yr… when ppl be asking me about chem i just blank

Just had my first SAT. i think i missed one math question!!! WTH

best advice to HS junior Chinese: start ur essays, take the SAT only once or twice, dont take the ACT, make sure u have EC and volunteer

this list is developed from experience and is in no way methological

ahh i thought this thread was going to be in pinyin! darn.

luntan gueiju shi yao yong ying wen, pinyin buxing de… zhai shuo pinyin nan da, ningyuan da hanzi

Why only twice? i was planning to take it 3 times.

i was just skimming through posts and saw this… please dont beat yourself up. a 790 is absolutly amazing!!! any us college would absolutly love that score. dont feel defeated or sad!! feel proud of yourself, a 790 deserves it!

hahaha, I am a veteran of SAT then. I took it 3 times…

打汉字只要不嚣张也可以。像我这样一般就没事。

他妈的不知道嚣不嚣张。

ykm, thats what ppl told me and what seems to work for me too… and my SAT went down from the first to second time so i used my first scores… i guess it depends on where u wanna go, but the UCs dont even care about SATs, i know someone who grew up in the US from Taishan w/ a 1660 SAT (notice it cant be the old one) and almost 4.0 unweighted who got into both berkeley and LA, and a russian with higher SATs than me cuz he took classes but low gpa and he’s going to community college for 2 years

i’d say ur safe above 2000 for instate (except if its some really “prestigious” place like stanford)… wait for ur scores b4 signing up again at least

then again for california residents, there no point in taking sats and doing freshman apps since going to community college almost garuntees getting into the top UCs at much less cost and effort… but u have to get good grades… so thats y i did freshman… but i know ppl w/ a lot of AP and now going to berkeley/LA but never applied as freshman

Does anyone know how popular Ipods are in China? I happen to have gotten an Ipod Video recently that I have no use for. I think ill give it to my cousin as a gift when I go to China this summer. However Im wondering if Ipods are “in fashion” in China lol.

well i know taiwan ppl who bought them in taiwan so i just its at least competitive in taiwan

i m gonna goto china this summer too :)

From Wuxi (near Shanghai, although mainland Chinese should know this already)…Came here when I was 5 (currently live in Orange County, CA) and am pretty white-washed. Very sad. Am going to learn how to read/write/speak and understand better Chinese in college. Visited family in Wuxi last year and began to appreciate Chinese culture more…yeah, I’m pretty white-washed. Only school my aunt knew about was Harvard…I got rejected and I think my relatives are kinda sad. :p

wow sad about stanford is impossible

but i’ll be at cal… salute meet u on the battlefield
