I would be kind of worried about this guy. Seems like his parents pushed him alot. I am not a big fan of people being pushed to accomplish way more than they are supposed to at an early age. My parents wanted me to do physics also for a long time and in the end I hated physics with a passion. (Interestingly my dad went to the same college in China and also worked on string theory at IAS lol) However I guess this guy here actually have a passion for it.

Ha, NB means

arrrrr 舒幼生,when I was doing physics olympiad I went to his class before. He’s really good. but I seriously doubt that guy can find the wrong problem in 8 min. I mean come on, there are hundreds of problems in that book, 8min is not even enough to read through all of them. no way…

and think one more time, what’s the point of this story? Encourage all the parents let their babies read calculus? or just make us look stupid?

so you major in physics, yryuan23? i love physics.

myoomyoo, are you now still in beijing?
do you have sat score when you applied to your school?

wow ppl know this guy? guess string theory at harvard is…

seriously, i think its just one of those, look how special/talented/weird/tight/wrong this person is things

not that i can actual read chinese well enough to figure out most of the article :(

I didnt know Harvard was so good at physics lol.

no i know that prof in PekingU, not that smart kid.

Holy crap there’s a lot of Chinese people on these boards… I’m assuming that most of you are living in the US currently?

I have a question. I don’t have a Greencard, but I’ve lived here for like 10 years. Do I still need to take TOEFL, even if I’ve taken the SATs?
