TOEFUL has nothing to do with your greencard. If your SAT Verbal scores are good enough you dont have to take the TOEFL.

Btw how come you’ve lived in the US for like 10 years and still havent got a green card? That will be quite annoying for you since you may have to apply as in international to colleges.

tangsdaily, who is Lang Xian Pin?

<a href=“郎咸平 - Google Search”>郎咸平 - Google Search;

so tangsdaily,do you major in economy or something?

啊,北京地震了,我傢的門都在晃

u cant go back to china and come back without a green card? applying international is unfair, 10 yrs without going back is pain

I dont get this either. 10 years should be enough time to get a green card. I came to the US through a green card so I guess I dont know how hard it is to get one. But still 10 years is a LONG time.

what do I major is not important, I always seek people to 煮酒论英雄…

I was denied when applying a visa-------- woooooooooooow

I was denied when applying a visa

ok so I am finally in China! currently staying in Shanghai chilling with my friends. well actually I am in a internet cafe right now coz my friend’s dorm is so freaking hot. ok I know it’s really bad to stay up late in a cafe the first day I get to China but…who cares anyways. Alright I’ll ttyl ppl. btw **** you tangs, how do you expect me to know what is string theory?

wudan you OK?

hi guys…anyone here is from shen zhen?

Can someone give me a list of the big electronic stores in Shanghai? Trying to find a LG Xnote TX but cant in the US and apparently there are some for sell in China. Dying to get my hands on one. Chinese stuff seem to be overpriced though. Going to cost me nearly 20,000 yuan to buy this laptop if i can find it.

Btw yryuan23, which school are you staying at? I might pay a visit to my cousin who is at Shanghai Jiaotong University

Sol, I have family in that area. My grandparents has an apartment in Zhuhai which is pretty close and I think my parents still have an apartment in Shenzhen as well. They lived there before coming to the US. Im from Nanjing though.

with 20,000 rmb in hand for laptop, you should buy both a macbook and a wintel.

yuan…sigh…

I dont like MacBooks. Im either going to just find the LG or buy a Thinkpad. Only reason Im buying in China is because I cant find it in the US. Stuff in China is so damned expensive even converted to dollars. Im not paying for it though lol.

This is the one I am looking for. Ultraportable with a discrete video card. Going to be greak to game in GenEd classes I have to take for credit.

you are going to play game on that? it has a 10 inch screen…

12in. Im looking for an ultraportable with a discrete video card and this fits the bill perfectly. I have a desktop for games and CAD. This will just be for passing the time in boring classes where I have no interest.
