anyone like rain? JYP entertainment is holding auditions in socal and their ads with rain in it ran for a week… i like the video… but the music is ok

o yea, if china is heaven, what is under heaven then? us?

Thanks for the ideas.

Rain is beautiful.

reality check… isn’t this suppose to be college confidential?

I totally agree with xo…ox. the shirts I bought in China are so comfortable to wear, while the shirts I got over here in the States feel like rags. I know it’s weird coz all of these are made in China. I don’t see why there is such a big difference.

SHE’s songs are called 口水歌 (dun know how to say that in English). You listen to these songs once and that’s it.

Rain is a good dancer. His song “it’s raining” is really good. I watched his live performance of that song on Youtube and he’s absolutely hot. but other than that, I don’t find any of his songs impressive.

To gen: yes, and your point is?

Havent checked this board since like forever lol. Just got my cheapo Wal-Mart bike stolen rofl. Guess cheap-bike-wont-be-stolen strategy doesnt work. Decided to get insurance and a much better bike.

Anyway Chinese music. I went to the Xinhua bookstore in Nanjing while I was on vacation and bought some Chinese music. Most are decent however for some wierd reason I like vocals but I dont want to know what the singer is singing lol. Back to my jpop collection I guess…

p.s. Rain is Korean right? I have a pretty large collection of SES and Shinvi lol. I generally prefer female vocals.

well i like females more too, but theres always some styles that its either only guys or girls

rain is korean… i only get jk pop from friends cuz i have no idea what to

its raining is the one where hes on stage and it starts raining rite? cuz if it is its been running on la18 every day…

Hi Guys! I’m not sure I’m considered a Chinese or not. Hehe…Apparently, I’m a Malaysian Chinese who has just graduated high school and starting to prepare for college. I can speak fluent Mandarin and Hokkien. Cheers!

Who said the cloths in China are cheap? Noway. A t-shirt will cost you over 70 yuan if you are lucky. I can find way cheaper/better ones in ross and marshall. TT My frds went back to China last/this yr, and I had no idea what I want from China.

well you kind of have to know where to shop in china…
专卖店 tshirts are like, around 10-20 yuan, and they have pretty decent quality… and lets not even go for the places where u can 砍价. if u shop at department stores then u better really like the thing cuz they really rip you off. i’ve seen the same exact thing sold for 8 times less at a 服装城

yes you can get a nice tshirt in america, but that’s about it

on the other hand u can get nonintended marcjacob lookalikes for slightly more than the price of a tshirt

in china you should be shopping in the range below a lauren/lacoste sweater

the bottom line is shop for style+quality not for brand, so you really have to use your own judgement

sup ming, what is Hokkien?

i seriously dont know anything about what clothes to buy

Hi guys,
Hokkien is a chinese dialect from the province of ***ien.

hahaha 福建 got censored

o so Fujian

OMG, that’s hilarious…

yea i think they need to consider that there might be words with f-u-k… alt spellings should have ph

wow … I feel so dumb compared to you guys. I am from Taiwan and currently in high school, a junior. I am trying to work hard to make up my soph year. I hope to get into UCSD but UCB and UPENN are my dream colleges but doubt that I will get in.

sup candace… what happened to ucla? where r u?

why is there absolutely NO media coverage on chen shui bian? i mean… cnn spent HOURS on that stupid 1week old lost baby. so dumb.
