Hi,
I’ve been thinking a lot recently about what I want to do. I’ve been pursuing a pretty advanced schedule academically, and am doing ACT/SAT prep. I’m also pursuing a number of extracurriculars as well. Basically, doing everything possible to have a good application. I’ve been looking at colleges recently, and, I’ve realized, I’m not quite sure what I want to do. I know I want to be in the broad category of “business”. I’m told that, within said category, “finance” based degrees and career paths are the most lucrative. What exactly does that mean? What kind of courses, degrees am I looking for? And, I understand that different colleges are better for certain degrees. For example, UC Berkeley is better for finance degrees, and UT is better for accounting. What colleges are best for what? How am I supposed to decide that?
