<p>I don’t see how this information is relevant to the topic. Maybe you feel being an ordained preacher gives you some sort of authority or privilege over others?</p>
<p>I never said that leolibby. But that’s ok. It’s ok for the school to lie about the supposed laws, the alleged reasons, and they even tried pulling scriptures on me. But that’s ok. They’re a college, therefore exempt. Anything else the college can do? </p>

<p>Plain and simple…colleges get to determine which applicants represent the qualities (both educational and moral) they want in an alum. Based on their continued denial of your application, it is obvious that at the currenttime you do not meet their requirements. Get over it.</p>

<p>Anyway, I think your two courses of action are to either: Attend another college or change your beliefs and appologise to the school. </p>
<p>My mom is a devout Christian, and I think I know something about the religion (I could be wrong)… fighting such a small thing as this supposed lie (which I’m not convinced even happened), is in itself a sin… The reason it would be a sin to fight this is because it is clearly against God’s will. What happened to the turn the other cheek stuff? or is this situation different?</p>
<p>Besides, I’ve given my SSN out thousands of times… in fact, having been in the military, I know you have to supply the last 4 numbers of your SSN every time you go to the dining hall. Your SSN is somewhat like your name in the military… it is printed on your dog tags… and I gave those away to interested German girls a long time ago.</p>
<p>However, I was still allowed to buy ice-cream or buy a train ticket or spend my whole day wandering around Munich, without my SSN being involved at all.</p>

<p>Absolutely. If I were an administrative assistant and nicely asked for a SSN and got back an earful about how it’s the number of the beast, I think I’d call security to escort the person out of the building. I sure as heck WOULD think that I might have the next Timothy McVeigh on my hands.</p>

<p>Nikki, I already reviewed some of those documents, and honestly, they make my head spin. And I have yet to find any that say the college does not have to comply with the Privacy Act of '74. I’m going to drop this subject here at CC for now, I have several requests in for updated information from the US Dept. of Ed and I’ll see where that goes.</p>
<p>I think this issue is certainly well worth discussing, but I see you and I went into it too deep. Since I made accusations here, I’ll apologize here. My fight is with the college, not you. Sorry for the insults.</p>
<p>As for the rest, grow up. Pizzagirl, Timothy McVeigh was a sick and cruel man. Thank you so very much for comparing us. And until I was told that I might be another Timothy McVeigh, I never yelled or raised a voice. </p>
<p>Leolibby, I have no idea where you served. I was in the Army as well. And the last four of our Social was never required for the mess hall. A strong stomach at times, yes. SSN in any form, no.</p>

The folks here are trying to help you. What we see, that you possibly can’t see because you are too close to the situation, is that you are fighting a fight that isn’t worth fighting and that you will almost certainly lose. You have much better things to do with your time and talents than this.</p>
<p>Folks, it’s ok to discuss, but if one genuinely wants clarity on this issue, this is the last place to seek it.</p>

It must have a big charity because our lord needs a lot of money, also it needs to have spiritual leaders and preachers that will tell us what to do and how to think because only they know what the truth is, ant it must have at least one inquisition!!!</p>
