I’m sorry, but this is like sun-dried tomato or blueberry bagels. The combinations may taste good, but they are an affront to the original. (I have an entire bagel rant, but will refrain.) :)

I unfortunately got my husband and son addicted to the dark chocolate peanut butter by Peanut Butter & Co. My husband likes peanut butter on an apple for a snack and adding chocolate was just icing on the cake! My son, after losing a ton of weight was in need of some protein for breakfast. I suggested he try some peanut butter when he was home visiting, so he tried the dark chocolate version and fell in love. Both guys eat it on graham crackers also. I happen to like the white chocolate version myself.

Num, num…I like a Skippy peanut butter crunchy and Hellman’s mayo sandwich. It used to gross my husband out when we were dating. I don’t do that anymore…too many calories…but after reading this thread, now I want one.

^^^momthree: I have to admit that sounds kinda gross, sorry! :o

Interesteddad: Just take a heaping tablespoon out of the jar & eat it right off the spoon! That’ll give you the taste you’re craving but with less calories (?)

My weird admission: Skippy Crunch, with bread and butter pickle slices on whole wheat. A little bit of heaven.

Sorry Momofthreeboys, a PB and mayo sandwich is grounds for divorce in my world. Ugh!!! Reminds me of the Allly Sheedy lunch scene in ‘The Breakfast Club:’ a Captain Crunch cereal sandwich. LOL

I have no comment on the PB & Mayo. Mom ate that sometimes. I have no clue how my mother stayed so slim.

Back in the days before I ate cardboard bread (as my kids call it), I was prone to the PB & Banana. But, it’s not the same on this bread. However, I will admit, under duress, to the occaisonal PB & Bacon. But please dont tell. ;)

Poetgrl, do you also own a high-collar white pantssuit and regularly perform onstage at Las Vegas? Sing it with me now, ‘a chunk, a chunk of burnin’ [peanut butter] love!'

I adore peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. A rare treat.

PB& mayo? PB& Bacon? I’d gain weight just making the sandwiches before it slapped on the pounds the minute I’d bite in. This is said as I just finished chowing down on a 1/2 jar of nutella. My clothes won’t fit, but boy that stuff is yummy!!! Never tried it with pb though… hmm. now there’s a thought…

D2 adores spoons of Skippy studded with peanuts. jym, pb and nutella is indeed wonderful.

Peanut Butter on TOAST. Mmmmm good!! :)

PB and nutella is great–and deadly!

Am wondering how difficult it would be to make homemade nutella… I had been meaning to try it for years and then developed an allergy that prevents buying the real deal (milk.)
