Clapping during Ap tests

Peoople at my school starting clapping at the end of the Ap test. My teacher says he has to report it to collegeboard and they can make the students retake it or invalidate the scores. As this happened in any of your schools and what were the consequences. Do you think collegeboard will invalidate the scores or make us retake it?

o.o
I think our teachers asked us to give ourselves a round of applause after the ap test lol.

Lol…?

We had a round of applause after the tests were collected. I don’t see why your teacher is so…uptight?

That’s nothing. When people in class were done with their ap test (basically they decided not to do the essays) they just started whispering to each other and giggling and the proctors did not say anything.

Our proctor went outside to quiet the stupid kids playing on the swings outside the church where our exam was being given, and people started talking and jokingly asking for answers.

That seems a bit strict, our testers were really laid back. A lot of people were talking and drawing on the dividers between us and making noises that made everyone laugh, pretty sure no one cheated though.

lol…clapping? like how some ppl clap after a plane lands? interesting…

Eh? As soon as my GC called time and we all closed our booklets, someone yelled out “It’s Over!” and then we all cheered and started talking about how hard/easy we thought it was while we turned all the stuff in.

I don’t see where clapping warrants any sort of cheating O-O

If people start clapping before tests have been collected, people could theoretically quietly share answers.

^That’s true.

I suppose in a larger class doing an MC section it would be very possible to cheat during applause since the proctor can’t really look at every kid at once.

Should have thought of that. =P

Your teacher is an idiot. Way too wound up. The idea is to stop cheating. That is not cheating.

We had 177 kids in a gym taking APUSH today and we had like 4 procters and we couldn’t make any noises until every test was collected.

^See, that makes sense. That’s a lot of students.

APUSH is 10 people in my school. Ever tried cheating when there’s 9 other students and a proctor watching? Yeah, no one else has either.

that is possibly the weirdest thing ever. Clapping…just…wow.

lol, I took an AP Euro Test today with one other person in a room that comfortably fits about 50… lol… Try cheating in that!

The proctor knew both of us and that we weren’t going to cheat or anything so was bored out of her mind for four hours…

^ this reminded me of how i’m going to have to take my AP World test ALONE :(. awkwardd ftw

At our school, everybody started coughing at the same time when the exam was over. The proctor didn’t notice it at first but later realized that everybody was coughing and threatened us to revoke our scores. Then at the end she dismissed people one by one (out of like 200 ppl) When we started groaning she was like 'Uh Uh!

I don’t know why he is so uptight about it…Doesn’t he want you guys to do well? Better student performances should make him look better. I guess he just wants to get fired. Typical of the modern American work force…What have we come to now…

Yesterday there was a fire at my school during AP Lit and they had to wait outside for a half hour before they could go back in and pick up where they left off. The tests are still valid as far as anyone knows.

*^ this reminded me of how i’m going to have to take my AP World test ALONE . awkwardd ftw *

lol last year i self studied psych and comp gov so I had to take them alone in the college counselor’s office lol. This year I have to do that with both econs ><
