what was your safety?

none…i intend on staying back a year if i dont get accepted anywhere… i have 3 colleges left(bowdoin,Sewanee-university of the south, and occidental) and have been waitlisted from 2(gettysburg and grinnell)

sewanee will be tough to get into i think and occidental is always competitive for financial aid…lets hope you get into gettysburg…

hehe…me too

2 buddhaforever,

i got rejected from stanford, yale, upenn, uchicago, union, hamilton and davidson.

waitlisted in amherst, carleton and colorado.

i am yet to hear from bennington, wesleyan and swarthmore.

accepted in reed.

i will now pull out from iub. i had sent my apps for round iii.

good luck to every1.

why do i feel more ppl are being rejected this year from nepal?..correct me if i am ‘thnking’ wrong…

shail619, almost every college acceptance rate is down to almost 10 %, everyone has that big american dream.

yeah…exactly…the competition just keeps on growing by the years

@davincicodes
Wabash and sewanee

what was your SAT 1 scores??

to exist, i know a few guys who applied to wabash, and the university of the south - sewanee, and they are waiting anxiously for the decisions!! i didnt though!

sat i - 2170 , cr - 740, m - 710, w - 720

shail 619 , but i read somewhere that this will decrease in the coming yrs, in swat’s site or somewhere!! there were some plausible reasons … though they couldnt explain the thing for international students!!

grinnell -----------after a long wait for monday, finally REJECTED. Now, I totally hate Grinnell. I had to actually call the admissions office to get my decision, because they would not reply to my email.

too bad buddhaforever, did you apply as a freshman or a transfer!!.. as you told getting in for transfers is quite hard in grinnell…aniways best of luck in other colls…btw when is your amherst decision coming?

end of may…

hi… any nepalis accepted (and attending) Stanford?

All colleges i thought to be my safeties rejected me…Just now Bennington!!!

come on reed is awesome and now no need to worry about those rejected from…

thats true, but i am just wondering if it wasn’t for reed!! then what would i be doing now??

i think most of us might have felt it this year!! weren’t most of us rejected bluntly by schools which we considered safeties?

Btw what do you plan to study davincicodes?
Reed is well-known for its strong science programs. It’s a great school.

@ davincicodes…as u had told me about my possible acceptance count…(which u presumed would be maximum)…while the funny thing is I now have the maximum rejections from Nepal this year I presume…maybe that’s what life is all about…so so unpredictable…but who gives a damn now anyway :)
