Well,I m thinkin of applyin to IUB too…wat!!!they ‘‘require’’ TOEFL??
can they do with IELTS??

Yes, U may send them your IELTS score. They have mentioned it as “TOEFL (Paper based: minimum score of 550; computer based: 213, or internet based: 79) or an equivalent test is required for admission if English is not your first language.”
Actually I was also thinking of applying for Round II but there seem to be so many Nepalese already in round I.

Yeah…IUB is so damn popular in NEPAL…

I got a similar mail on Nov 10 or 11. saying that my app. was complete…but I cancelled it later…Don’t want to go to Germany

your app was complete in NOV 11???..considering the fact that the deadline was dec1…the irony is i haven’t received my confirmation yet…

Do u know exactly how many ppl r applying on round1 (those dat u know?)? Im not thinking of gettin rejection letter from IUB. If it happens then I’ll have to go to some super safety schools in US.

Someone emailed me that my app. was complete…I can give you her email address so you can email her and ask if your app. is complete…

i have got the address but she keeps on telling me to be patient…during this time i can have everything but patience…

regarding round 1…upto now i know 2 ppl from bnks (including me)…and u porkey…comfy pulled out…rest i have no idea…i seriously hope there aren’t much…

It seems I might get rejected by IUB because of incomplete application

I’ve heard of nobody getting rejected from IUB …

^^^2-3 guys last year from our college got rejected. And I hope i’ll be the 1 this year becous of my SAT. I’m not being pessimistic but the situation is somewhat like dat.

U never know guys. IUB has become a popular choice of many Nepalese in the past two years or so. I have heard of some ppl this yr also who have applied to IUB( those who do not consider US as their first choice). May be because of the acceptance rate and the aid they provide.

Why was your app incomplete Shail?

I mean i haven’t yet heard from them about the receipt of my application. i had sent both the financial aid application and the admission application at the same time…my finaid application is complete but due to some reasons…haven’t heard from them about my main applicaiton.

so does applying to IUB have any restrictions, like if u get accepted in round I do u need to withdraw other apps like when u’re accepted in Ed or it’s just that u have higher chances than those in the other rounds?

Wat!!!
I cant make out wat u hav written,but still I will try…
If ur talkin bout ED apps for US,then,no…u dont hav to withdraw ur app even if ur acceptd in IUB…just dont enroll there if u think u will get acceptd in ur ED and will prefer those over IUB…

that’s the best part of applying to iub in round 1

yep… i’ll be starting my RD apps tomorrow… wish I don’t have to send those apps… hehe :D

Damn…I m reallllllyy confused…
Hey,has any1 sent their 9th or 11th grades??
n has any school pass-out sent that ‘‘mid-year’’ school report??
is that report required for us(the pass-outs…who hav their high school transcript…)??
