Class of 2011 from Nepal...lets discuss here

i applied to pton…don’t know if i got accepted…how did u know??

Go to: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/reference

In reference number, put: 650

In date range Dec 10 -Dec 17

Shipment Destination: Nepal

Best of luck to you…

haha … then i am not the only one to try it…

UPS is not only for acceptance…or at least we can’t be sure till now …
anyway i was emailed by princeton … they had asked me for my street address instead of pobox which i had supplied earlier…so, i knew since 12th that i will get a UPS…does that really tell the decision???

they had mentioned " UPS can not deliver in post box. So, please supply your street address"

But that makes Sense. UPS is costly. Why the hell would they waste money for sending Rejection/Deffered letters…
And Rejection/Deffered letter’s can be a killo heavy:)

what’s ur zipcode?

and 650 - might be for accepted - so for someone else
and another no. for deferred- me…
so, i can’t really say that i am accepted…

we don’t have zipcode in nepal…i just sent my street address as…
ghar no…marga
chabahil, kathmandu

Let’s hope for the best…

hey abhishiv, how do you track packages from other colleges ???

Someone on the p’ton board got his package yesterday with reference number 650, ppl are using that no…

an accepted canadian posted reference no.(tracking no.) on CC…we are using it by just changing destinations —looks like there is a UPS heading from NJ to Nepal with the same code -650(which is imagined to be the accepted tracker assigned by Princeton)…u see how we Princeton krazy kids are??

1 nepalese has probably(if these assumptions are true) got into Princeton…i just hope that it is me…

Last to last year same thing happened with MIT
Ben and Matt said that it’s highly unethical, not in my opinion

This is not confirmed but I’ve heard that Princeton replies to emails about decisions…

interesting I must say…

why is it supposed to be unethical?

you are tracking other people’s personal information without their consent, that certainly sounds unethical to me.
