Congratulations to Comfy. Imagine how great the remaining eight months r gonna be for him. Cricster, I guess we are the only two here doing +2. how did your one go. Mero ta u can see in the beginning.

Congratulations to Comfy from my side also. no_novice, my academics r good SAT and Toefl scores fine, but i don’t have many extra activities bcoz there were not many extra activities in my +2. so i have very little chance of going to a good college with nice scholarship. i will be happy if i can get just full tuition scholarship at any college (dont care about college’s repute or rank). U have far better stats than me yaar. All the best. Spare me some safety schools hai :)

dont worry cricster…u will get in a good college…

Congrants comfy…and…cricster I am from +2 too and don’t worry safety should not be a problem…i think all of you can get full tuition schs…good luck…

About deferrals…that means that colleges think you are a fit for the college but others were more fit. And, it all depends on how many other accepted ones accept financial aid pacakages and how strong is the RD applicant pool. Look into other colleges. Show your interest. If possible improve your scores or do something extra and inform them regularly of what you have been doing. In short show them that you are worthy…
It’s not easy though. Giving advice is easier. hehe

congrats to comfy… so many guys are getting in…

mmm…again congrats comfy…so, now 8 months of playing basketball, i suppose

Basketball reminds. oh miss those old good days. we have a public court in our locality itself but just don’t feel like playing there. Guys how long does April takes to arrive? I’m sure this year it’s gonna take awful lot of time.

cricster. I don’t think any of us need to spare a safety for you. from 3000 odd schools I don’t think it will be anything difficult for u to find a safety. also u said u r fine with full tuition. so best of luck.

well April is a long way away…especially after so many deferrals…massive scale competition is inevitable come the end of march…is it just this year or does this thing happen every year…i mean about the deferrals…It seems almost every ED’er is getting deferred…

don’t start talking about safeties already…let’s be more optimistic…everyone has butterflies in the stomach but lets not take that anxiety to the level where we might need safeties for our good…I am already freaking out going through all these RD applications…man!!! life’s a real mess right now…it really is…

ya…same here…lets hope this pays off…(and it will!!)…;)…

btw,cricster,r u applying for ANY fin.aid??
if not, then, man…ur going to a good one!!!
I will name one or 2 for u if ur reply is that u can pay full fee…

i’m rejected by Bryn Mawr…damn!!!

oh…dont worry…RDs r there for u!!..

never mind maichang…that’s life…u need to move on…

ya u should move on’

mm…u shouldn’t get upset. You have other things ahead of you(things that u have planned). Go ahead…things will work out for the better(u see I am really bad at consoling anybody).

yep… one college is not worth everything… to get obsessed…

Someone from Nepal got into P’thon ED…
Is he on this board?

who told that?
