Nepalese guys and gals are rocking in college admissions…harvard, priceton, duke, colgate, reed, smith, swarthmore…god almighty…those are seriously big ones there…and the best thing is still more to come …this april…

Congratulations to theundergrad. For a moment I thought why davincicode was congratulating me because the name Rashesh and my name don’t have much of a difference.
Yes shail. Come April

How many days does it take for the Official SAT scores to arrive in our mail box? I gave it on November and I haven’t received it yet. It’s late for me to send the scores to schools where I didn’t send the official scores. I tried to send an email to college board but it says your request will be processed in 2-3 weeks. How long did it take for your scores to arrive and when did your friends get their scores (who gave on Nov). Any suggestion?

oops. didn’t notice the thread shail started. what Oct scores not recieved. What is the problem with the mailing system in Nepal. If you haven’t received your Oct one yet then what will probably be with mine.

Does anyone know the exact number of applicants from NEPAL to IUB for round 1??? coz that’s my next venture…I know of 3 ppl from bnks including me and 1 from xaviers…any more???..

IUB gayera matra ke kam, it’s freaking hard there. Gettting a GPA of 3.4 is very very hard.

i am applying IUB precisely for that… yah sounds wierd…

Well coming to this stage of life itself wasn’t at all easy to be fair…and IUB won’t be anything different then…so I am up for it…doesn’t anyone know the exact number of ppl applying in round 1 this year??

“Well coming to this stage of life itself wasn’t at all easy to be fair…”

k ho sabu, tanna angrezi chadne bhachau ta!!

Europe tira GRADE POINT AVERAGE starts from 5 then goes down to 1, 1 meaning best. So, to get 3.4 is hard then how hard is it to get around 1.5

That’s for german high school diplomas, IUb follows American curriculum and grading policies.

w t f ? who told that…?

yeah american system ma nai it’s very very hard to get 3.4

i’d prefer getting pushed and given hard to do challenges than getting perplexed when i have to do the same thing in job… after all if I don’t give a 20hr day now… when will i?

good luck genericgenius…anyone here knows Richmond University…the american international university in london…one of my friends got in there, and he says he has classes only twice a week ( and he isn’t pushed twenty hours a day in those two days)…

Richmond University …the American University in London…Somebody from BNKS requested it’s brochure and it came to my POBox. hehe

my brother has similar classes in Oxford…only twice a week, they said…my brother was happy but they happened to be tutorial classes in which teachers tells u what to do for the entire week…my brother says that it was harder than in US…tooo much work

oh…i had thought of applying there…but, later changed my mind.

mandark8…are you talking of oxford or richmond.?

sailesh6126… i think richmond doesnt have tutorial system, coz i heard oxford ( and cambridge ) in uk only are among the very few ones (like st. john’s, and other colleges that follow the great books curriculum)

i am talking about richmond, davincicodes.
