<p>from BNKS about 5-6 are applying to harvard…i suspect even more…but minimum is 5-6 …but having more no. of applicants is not that serious when applying to harvard(or other ivys)…it is hard to get into harvard whether there are other applicants from nepal or not…if all are qualified, harvard will take all of them(harvard has taken up to 3-4 nepalis at the same time)…if not harvard will not take someone because that person is the single applicant from the country…(in past there has been time when none were accepted when many applied)</p>
<p>but, when there are about 10-15 applicants, you must look good compared to other kids from the region…and this year harvard is going to have the biggest competition…best students from BNKS are applying…everyone with rank 1 to 3(there are about 10) and extraordinary works in diff. fields…genericgenius has impressive credential as well…and i had heard that the best students from RBS are also applying…</p>
<p>so, switch7 …u are not the only one…there is a competition and it is probably the biggest competition for college this year for nepali applicants… what did you expect? …harvard is the no. 2 college in the world according to US news and in terms of reputation it is still no. 1…so, why wouldn’t people at least try to get into harvard?? so, there are plenty of applicants and good applicants…but don’t loose hope…u might get in…good luck</p>
