Oh…then u all must b restless(atleast shail619 is…)…eh?..
So, any new acceptance??(No new BLUNDERS plz…coz our congratulations r PRESIOUS!)…

yeah…congratulations is indeed quite a precious word…can change our lives…just like that…

yeh. hope we get to share some congratulations for genuine acceptances as well. i’m sure that’s on its way too. :)

since the post is getting dull let’s talk about something else… let’s talk about beautiful campuses…for me colleges with beautiful campuses are: Cornell (too beautiful), colgate, princeton, columbia, colby. I hear Bryn Mawr and Kenyon are the most beautiful among all. But I won’t mention as I have not seen them myself. You guys can just go to google or something to see the pics. In my case I have seen those colleges.

in terms of campuses, STANFORD rocks!!!..
I havnt visited though…But I hav sufficient communications to prove it…
MIT and Harvard campuses r in the mid of cities,so, it is cool only if u love City kinda life(for me its nothin more than conjestions!!!)…

hey…I don’t know if it’s actually true or not but I have heard that Vassar has one of the most beautiful settings…

i have heard Connecticut College is really beautiful as well…

and btw…what is everyone doing these days?..doing any jobs or something?

doing nothing shail. still searching for some rolling ones actually. hehehe

i mean to say except for the college stuff…i mean… at this moment…there ought to be more things in life than college apps…isn’t it?

a guy from bnks got accepted by University of Tampa (nonetheless, his safety)

Ok…I want to point an interesting fact over here…until recently…lets say some couple of years back only…it used to be only (majority) bnks students getting into the top notch colleges in the US…but i don’t know if its the effect of the ‘new’ Nepal thing…things are seemingly changing…I mean to say…nowadays…I can hear ppl from rbs getting into places where traditionally we expected a bnks’er to be…does it imply that bnks’ers are degrading their standards or is it that the ‘rest’ of the schools are getting better?..let’s discuss the reason behind this ‘phenomenon’…we could even talk of xaviers for that matter…(although only upto certain extent)…whats’ the reason behind this ‘change’?

well…this girl from king’s college in baneshwor got into stanford…I think applying to US is a process that needs to be understood by the applicant…and then the school is not a big factor…In the end who ends up with the strongest application wins the admission…

sniff sniff … i can smell some burning… ok kidding dudes…
“competition builds quality” all the same

what are u guys doing these days?

but…what i mean to say is…usually…the ‘goodness’ of a candidate depends upon the high school background…

yes it does to an extent…anyways I am ta mast waiting for my decision from Amherst and Whitman. Let’s see what happens. I don’t know of anyone applying to Amherst except for one, I think…

oh ya it is good to see some of you in facebook…you guys are pretty advanced huh??

you mean from Nepal?..if yes…rest assured there will be lots and lots…at least in Amherst…

i dun think ‘goodness’ of a candidate can be measured by a high school background… it’s the choices he/she makes… if u r smart enuff, anything can be done.
if things don’t happen, i will accept that i didn’t do things smartly… plan it right…
if ppl get into better places, it means that they used their resources better
admission process is after all too capricious!!!
maybe bnks’ undisputed reign is slowing down…
