And lower scores are not the end of the world. Top ranked universities and colleges doesn’t mean its a top college for you. Like if u are an engineering major then no use going to liberal arts college even if i don’t get ivies i will still have colleges like LORAS(for eg where any nepali student have to pay 10K and u are in)</p>
<p>^ If you are engg. LAC would make sense if you want Physics at UG and Engg. at Graduate but then the normal way is preferred and recommended.</p>

<p>^^1400 can get u into gud colleges just research and research u will find…don’t just look in US look in canada too there are colleges offering aids to internationals there…and u said u didn’t apply early? with 1400 i think u messed up a chance see colleges which has ED’s or EA’s of dec 1 deadline and don’t waste ur ED but i think u wasted urs, anyways still EDII RDs</p>

<p>i think last year one who went to st peters had to pay 3000$ , similar with st.johns i guess don’t worry 1400 is good score for lots of college</p>

<p>1400 is a decent score for any Liberal arts college… in fact I had under 1400 (1390 to be precise)…but still I was able to land myself in a decent college…it is not just about hard numbers…it is more about how u compile ur whole application so as to present yourself as the kind of applicant the college is looking for… it is not just about u finding out the matching college for yourself…it works the other way round as well…the colleges too are in looking for their “match” students…</p>
<p>And one more thing…why are you guys already thinking about safeties…come on…have some faith in yourself… if you don’t believe in yourself…why do u expect good colleges to believe in you? You guys already sound like lost warriors when the battle hasn’t even started… </p>

<p>Battle, resources, Genghis Khan, reminds me of Age Of Empires lol. Well from this year on St. pEters doesnt offer any scholarship other than full tution. Wel for safeties i advice you all to go to some consultancies at putalisadak. They have a list of state universities that offer full aid. Of them I recommend dikchya.</p>
