Skunk u r kiddin…for u stanford may be one of safeties…lol

Megaadi, where did you apply ed to?

Megaadi, where did you apply ed to? Hope not in trinity.

same question Megaadi.
can anyone tell me about skidmore? anyone applying there?

you said something about consultanvies in putalisadak? do state u s give full aid to international students? can you please elaborate?

skidmore is too stingy…esp with international students…i almost wasted my ed there last yr…(thanks to some wise counseling)…it’s a fair enough gamble if u go for rd…coz then u ve nothing to lose…but for ed…i wouldn’t recommend it…

guys wht abt pomona? does anyone know if pomona gives ful aid to internationals?

It does but its extremely competitive.

Ayush, Many consultancies claim that they do have the names of state universities that award full scholarship to internationals but you have to pay abt 6000 to them(consultancies) just to get those names! Consultancies are those who take your watch and tells you the time. Yet if you wish you can take their aid. And do not forget to mail me one name.

No not in trinity…i know u will get in exist…no doubt

Hey guys i m having a real prob in my essay …can u suggest me sth

hey exist

is is $6000 or Rs 6000

I hope it is Rs

most state universities have deadlines later than private colleges (march april)…and if u want to go to state uni why go consultancy and waste money apply urself…

consultancies suck big time. u guys know much more than the consellor at the consultancy. they know nothing about US schools and application process. go ask them the names of IVY league school. all they know is Harvard. I have tried visiting them. they do nothing but demoralise you. except for the likes of Universal and others, dont waste your money on them.

Ayush its rs.
Tosin… I do not completely agree with you. You cannot call ivy a safety. So ignorance about them is not a problem. These consultants have some knowledge on state universities that award good merit based scholarship. But it is also true that they are expensive. What i recommend is that we should wait for our ed 1 and 2 result mean while searching safeties. If we fail to do both we should contact those expensive consultants. (well dont i sound a wise guy…lol)

I’ve heard that the Trinity in CT is a preppy college for rich pompous whites. Any truth in that?

Exist: Let me clear you a thing, ToUSin is experienced enough to not to call IVIES as ‘‘safeties’’…And you should be a bit more confident about your choices, you can at least try for better 2nd or 1st tier colleges…

skunk: every bit of that is true. and the town around the college is crime-filled.

Whyat about the Connecticut? is it the same? anyone can tell me about wofford?

*what

And how are the colleges we are applying supposed to know about the academic rigorousness of the courses that we have taken? I mean if the counsellor sends only school report and transcripts but no information about the school?
