If you are good enough for the college then you are in, your gender won’t be of much help in here…(I don’t understand where you all get these from)…</p>

<p>Almost every college in my list requires at least another piece of writing, be them full fledged essays or small personal statements. Seems that I did not do a good job compiling a list, dont know why but every college seems to ask something different.</p>

<p>Well, I faced similar situation, what we did is, wrote two-three essays which included every possible topics (And mind it, they were not ‘‘plugged together’’ essays, they were vibrant and complete is every senses (Although you can always point out missing part), and I am not talking about my essays, but a friend’s essays) and then, all we did is copy paste and edit…:)…</p>
<p>Great idea… I cant figure out how though? My friend has been applying to all the so called “safety colleges”. I got deferred at Dickinson and I am planning to write a different essay. Will a college in say North Dacota find out if he submits my essay I wrote to Dikcinson?? JUst asking out of curiosity.</p>

<p>North Dakota obviously won’t know what you wrote for Dickinson… but since u got deferred at Dickinson… don’t you think you need to give a second thought to your essay itself…I mean had it been a winning essay in the first place…they probably wouldn’t have deferred you…</p>

<p>This is not the place to portray your stupidity my friend… If I were you…I would instead concentrate on trying to get as much help as possible from this thread so as to do better in RD instead of getting hysterical about ED and dying with it…you gotta move on my friend… You might want to sound rough and tough by posting trash but you are the crying over a deferral… I know it’s hard on anyone being denied of something that they might have deserved…but there is no point shouting about it and making a big fuss…remember u are not the only one that is going through this…I went through it…people this year are going through it…it happens every year… the important thing is u need to be strong enuf to live with reality and MOVE ON…</p>
