Class of 2012

It is, yeah. There’s so many different fees and forms and other complications.

i just landed a job interview for tomorrow.
for a job in a … SUPERMARKET!!!
my career is going GREAT… data input, supermarket…what’s next? Burger King???

haha i hope i get the job coz the one that i have now is over after this week…and i need monnnneeeeyyyyyyy for philadelphia shopping  lol sorry, i drank wayyyyyy to much coffee which is why i press the keys for a tad too long sometimes now.
i call my embassy today to schedule an interview… i hope they have some empty slots. poly, what did they ask you for? the website says i should have my passport at hand, but should i also have the I20 (do they need any numbers from there or something)?

LOL Rister, good luck with that!

You need the I-20 for the SEVIS number.

is the SEVIS number the one that is written below (or above?) this barcode. like in the upper right corner? i think it’s called Student Number on the I-20
haha sorry for the stupid questions but i don’t have my I-20 here…and i need to call from work because when i’m at home the embassy will be closed already. i wrote down this number in the upper right corner though, so if this is the SEVIS number i’m lucky

Its just above the barcode. Yes, upper right hand corner.

yessss !!! <3 thanks haha
trying to get webmessenger running by the way… it’s just a question of time until i’ll be logged on

But hey I don’t know, maybe YOU don’t need the I-20 when booking a date.

I couldn’t call and book, I had to fill out a gazillion forms online.

ah ok… i’ll just call then. on the website they only say passport number so i think i don’t need the SEVIS number. but a good thing that i have it with me anyway.

finished gatsby?

Yep, finished it! It was good, but as I said, I still don’t get the hype.

I’m now reading Jhumpa Lahiri’s Interpreter of Maladies. Its awesome.

never heard of it.

i ordered freakonomics by the way :)

Awesome!

Maybe you should read that book, you’re now an unofficial Indian anyway ;)

haha yeah apparently. so what is it about? (and don’t just gimme the wikipedia link, only nazis do that. hi tetris)

oh and what happened to Catcher in the Rye?? did i turn you off with my incoherent synopsis? :)

Lol…it’s a collection of short stories, some set in India, some in Boston.

And Catcher in the Rye is still on my list! I’ll get it the next time I go to the library :)

nice, i’ll see if they have it in the library here. but you knkow that i already have 3 books that I have to read over the summer, so i can’t promise anything ;)

Hehe sorry about that Rister, I was in a lazy mood at that time :D

hehe no worries :D

How’s your reading coming along, Rister?

Has anyone ever read Faulkner? And more importantly, understood anything? lol

idk Faulkner…

reading is going well, i have to finish Forster by next Thursday because then the Ben Franklin biography will be delivered :D

Haha :D

I’m going to start on Heart of Darkness now.

ewwww…i had to read this for my leaving exams. not one of my favorite readings, to be polite ;)
