DITTO!!.. .lol.

@3333: Maybe that’s a hint, a hint that they would love to have you in their college.
Or maybe you “over-stated” your interest. :p

lol 10char

lol!!! i don’t think i ‘over-stated’ it… :p…i just said i “really wanted to come!!” :p… which i would if they take me… ha ha… :p… about the hints… nah!! they’r just trying to weed out fakers (ahem!) from the REAL DEDICATED people!!! lol… :p

So, who else is going to apply to Lafayette now?
P.S. Not me.

@3333: You should had said, “please send the ED II form along with the Decision letter and I shall consider your offer.” :p

^^ rofl… not bad… i think i should say that now… :p

lafayette? now? deadline has already passed right???

yeah… deadline passed.

hello the class of 2014 from nepal ! from the indian thread :)

hello funnypunjabi… welcome… :)

hey guys, this a cool thread just like the indian thread :)

Is FAFSA for US students only??? Should we also submit it? Is CSS and IFSAA are same…?

i think fafsa is for only us students only I think

How can I download the ** Customized Pre-Application Worksheet** of the Collegeboard CSS Profile in PDF format? I need to work on it ASAP!

@3333 and sarbaraj: I asked about Lafayette because I received an e-mail from them saying that they have extended their deadline till Jan. 15. So, I was wondering if anyone else received that e-mail as well.

I received an Early Decision offer this year and my college told me to send all the confirmation documents by 30th December. I send all of these documents by e-mail (scanned copy) and via FedEx (hard copies) on 26th December, 2009. But as holidays were on in USA, my FedEx courier reached on 4th January, 2010 instead of 29th December, 2009. The package reached there on time but as no one was there in the college to sign and acknowledge the package, there was a delivery exception and the college requested the package to come on 4th Jan, 2010. I checked the status with my tracking number and they received it yesterday.

When I sent my e-mail also on 26th December 2009, an automatic out of office reply was sent in stating that the person wont be available until 4th January 2010.

Now my question is, will this hurt my enrollment in any way, particularly that I’m an international? Will they throw me out for this reason? Or will they see that I sent the materials on 26th December, 2009 and acknowledge it? I still haven’t received a confirmation for the e-mail or FedEx package.

First off, congratulations!
Second, I certainly don’t think that they’ll throw you out for this reason at all. Getting an e-mail response could take a while as the college has just re-begun after the holidays and there must be a lot of e-mails that they may need to reply to… So, try calling them instead and explaining your situation. I’m sure they would understand. Don’t worry about it too much. :)

@pokharaboy

where’d you get in??

@cezangel: FAFSA is only for US students… we internationals don’t have to use it… your college may ask you to file either the ISFAA which you’ll get in .pdf form or the CSS which you’ll have to file online in the collegeboard website & have to pay as well… they are both very different…

@PokharaBoy: Congratulations! try calling them… they will understand…
