<p>i was scared about coming to a state university. but i’m loving it. if you look for it, its like you can find whatever you want… plus Mississippi State University has that engineering program i wanted.</p>

<p>jacobs has its student exchange program with Rice and Lafayette. so you can tell its a good school. but it piles you up with huge loan…and its interest rate is high which they charge you right from the start of the college. </p>

<p>FYI, two of my friends who got into jacobs decided to go to a fourth tire university in the US.</p>

as for safeties, i should have EA-ed to all of them a long time back…as some great man said here before…plan for safeties by november 1…but i guess i didnt listen…lets just hope i dont have to pay the price for that!</p>

<p>@skox818, myan safeties have rolling deadlines and those that have these deadlines…have scholarship deadlines in Dec or those that don’t give our scholarships on a rollling basis…so it’s hard to find safeties now in Feb…</p>

<p>I dunno but…if your paying 6K^ then see UNO (Uni of New Orleans)…SELU (South Eastern Louisiana). Am…any other state unis…but youre sure to pay there…I dunno if any safety colls would provide full scholarships this time around…otherwise I would have said Wooster too…</p>
