these are the colleges that DO NOT give significant aid to int’ls…if you’re willing to pay 15K +, then u might wanna overlook this but anyways…these are the colleges i got rejected from due to ‘high financial need’

I got accepted by Depauw and they are asking me to pay 31k …How can i?

<p>i guess depauw is all about ‘the early bird catches the worm’…but no matter how early you are…depauw is going to give u a worm that is atleast $10K long!</p>

<p>I would have added Depauw here. But it’s really a good school.As I have mentioned before; Depauw asked me to pay 13k. At that time, Lafayette’s ED deferral had made me so desperate to get into a good school…that I called virtually every night to Depauw…trying to cut that ‘pay’ down. I even sent a letter through my father explaining my financial circumstances. I even made an international admissions representative (he was an Indian and studied in a place where I had studied before) my friend through my daily calls. I even applied to some internship programs like the ITAP and the SSRFP there in Feb. But …hard luck…he was wanting me that I get in with sufficient aid…but he said that his hands were all tied down too from a higher authority…To sum it up, at last…they agreed till 9k pay…but then the most I could pay was 4k.</p>
<p>Then, Jacobs surprised me with an acceptance…I am hoping for a good aid there (altho the loan is surely gonna be outrageous)…I have a few more really good school decisions coming up. This also includes College of Wooster (the decision shud arrive by next week). Let’s hope that I get a good offer. I would be really happy if I end up somewhere good with sufficient aid (My preference has always been Lafayette/Stanford)…Let’s see…</p>

3) Depauw University (ok…if you get in ED…the least youll pay is ^10k)
4) Syracuse University (gr8 school…Go Orange!!!)
5) Virginia Tech (Gr8 one too)
6) Purdue Uni (has its own airbus and railway)
7) University of Maryland (gr8 school)
8) Northwestern (I love Purple!)</p>
<p>The list is endless…but these were some schools I found to be really interesting during my research for colleges…at that point of time (naive)…I even submitted some apps to Purdue…hehe…but later withdrew…when I found out it doesnt give out aid to intls.</p>
